The glowing spheres in Sands of Thought represent human consciousness, and the sand represents thought. The spheres rising from the sand show consciousness freeing itself from being immersed in and identified with thought. The green and blue spheres which are still buried in the sand, radiate a light that is predominantly in harmony with their outer shell (ego) while the spheres that have broken free from thought radiate a pure white light, which is in harmony with their white inner awareness.
